Larceny 2300 Block Of Cowan Blvd, 2/04/2208, 00:00:04 Fredericksburg More Info: A resident reported that some tools were stolen from a toolbox inside his apartment. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Armed Robbery 2305 Jefferson Davis Hwy (Dunning Mills Inn), 11/05/2009, 09:25:00 Fredericksburg More Info: Employees of the business reported that they were robbed of an unknown amount of cash by a male subject armed with a handgun. The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 57” with a thin build, wearing a black jacket and possibly a blue cap. Following the robbery, the suspect ran from the immediate vicinity. The Fredericksburg Police Department was assisted by the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office in creating a perimeter around the area, and a Spotsylvania K-9 and handler conducted a track from the business. The track indicated that the suspect probably fled in an unknown vehicle that was parked a short distance from the Dunning Mills office. As a precaution, the schools in the area (Fredericksburg Christian School, Sonshine Daycare, Walker Grant Middle School, Lafayette Upper Elementary) were placed on lockdown until it was determined that the scene was secure. The information included in this report is preliminary and the investigation is ongoing.
Vandalism 1400 Littlepage St, 11/04/2009, 04:00:00 Fredericksburg More Info: A resident reported that five trees planted by a non-profit organization were removed from the ground near the Dog Park and thrown into the street. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Hit And Run 1460 Central Park Blvd (Ann Taylor Loft), 11/04/2009, 01:00:00 Fredericksburg More Info: A Spotsylvania resident reported that her vehicle was struck and damaged in the parking lot. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Fraud 200 Kings Mill Ct, 11/03/2009, 00:00:00 Fredericksburg More Info: A Ruther Glen resident reported that a former girlfriend used his identification information to obtain a credit card, then defaulted on the payment. The investigation is ongoing.
Breaking And Enterin 720 Littlepage St (Sunken Well Tavern), 11/03/2009, 09:00:00 Fredericksburg More Info: The owner of the business reported that the receipts from the previous night and cash were missing from the desk. Entry was gained through a side door to the business. The investigation is ongoing.
